Description

The Selfridges depot on Irongate Wharf Road was responsible for the distribution of goods bought at the Oxford Street store. The boiler shown was made by Stitson, White and Company, heating and sanitary engineers, and the photograph was commissioned by them. Irongate Wharf Road was later renamed Harbet Road.
