Description

The memorial dates from about 1922 and was designed by Sir Banister Fletcher for Hitchin Parish Church. The tablet was carved in Caen Stone, the figures by sculptor Mr C L Hartwell ARA and the masonry carried out by Messrs Blundell, Shephard & Monks, for whom this photograph was also taken.
