Description

The photograph was taken for the architects Bourchier, Tatchell & Galsworthy. The Bedford Lemere daybook records the British Australian Wool Realisation Association (BAWRA) against this location, probably because the photograph shows offices leased by them. BAWRA was established in 1921 to help stabilise the wool industry by selling wool and reducing the stockpile of wool on world markets.
