Description

The photograph was taken for Archibald D Dawnay & Sons Limited, steel construction engineers. The church, designed by Robert Atkinson, was the first steel-framed church in England. It was destroyed by enemy action in 1940 and rebuilt in 1958 with a new dedication of St Katherine Westway.
