Holy Trinity Church dates from 1908 with the chancel designed by architects Hicks and Charlewood. The nave and tower were later completed by Hoare and Wheeler in 1920-1922 with gifts from the Dalgliesh family in memory of those from Northumberland and Tyneside who fell in the war of 1914-18. This photograph was taken for R S Dalgliesh.
