Description

The Post Office Directories of both 1918 and 1925 do not record a hotel under the name of the Norfolk Hotel on Norfolk Street during this period. However, there was a Norfolk Hotel at 30-32 Surrey Street, Strand and the Norfolk Hotel Company at 32 Queen Victoria Street EC4 during this period. The photograph was commissioned by the Law Land Company, who held offices at 30 Norfolk Street in Donington House.
