Description

Hay Green was subsequently renamed Kingsnympton Hall at some point around the mid to late 1920s, and was unfortunately demolished after sustaining heavy damage during a Luftwaffe raid on the 9th of September 1940. The Bedford Lemere daybook records a 'Mr Milne Esq' as the client for this image, and that the builders and decorators George Trollope and Sons were involved in works on the property.
