Description

The Wildernesse, a large mid-eighteenth century country house, was subsequently renamed Dorton House, and is currently in use as Dorton House School for the Blind. The photograph was commissioned by J McCandlish. The current Wildernesse Golf Course is now located to the south-east of the house.
