The photograph was taken for Smith & Wellstood Ltd., manufacturers of stoves with an iron foundry in Bonnybridge, Scotland. The company are listed as having London showrooms at 11 Ludgate Circus and 8 Upper Thames Street in the 1925 Kelly's Post Office London directory.
