Description

The Liberty shop was established by Arthur Lasenby Liberty in 1875. The Regent Street block is shown here during the rebuilding of the store which took place between 1922 and 1926. This photograph, commissioned by Contractors Higgs and Hill, shows a newly completed section of the store to the right, beside the soon to be demolished Victorian buildings of the old shop.
