Description

The Carlton Club, gentlemen's club, was established in 1832 following the defeat of the Conservative Party in the Reform Act of that year. The site at 100 Pall Mall became home to the Carlton Club in 1835. This building was replaced in 1856 and underwent major renovations in 1923-1924.
