Description

The K2 telephone box was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott and introduced in 1926, the year of this photograph. The ironfounders Macfarlane's of Glasgow commissioned Bedford Lemere to take this photograph suggesting that this box in Ladbroke Grove may have been one of the very first to be installed.
