Description

Brunswick Buildings were built on the site of former slums. In the Second World War many of the flats were destroyed by bombing and after living conditions deteriorated further they were demolished in 1976. The original photograph has the name of James Hartnoll, architect, and the date 5th August 1885, written in the bottom right hand corner. A copy was made by Bedford Lemere & Co in 1926 for Stiles & Co, estate agents.
