This late Victorian detached house was formerly known as Gilnochie. In 1926 when Otto Oppenheimer, diamond merchant, was living here it was known as Lynwood Chase. It was later demolished and the site developed for housing in the late 20th century. The photograph is part of a set commissioned by Otto Oppenheimer taken to show work carried out by Oliver Hill, architect.
