Description

The Automobile Association was founded in 1905, with a membership of 100. This photograph shows Fanum House, the offices occupied by the organization from 1909 until 1973 when the headquarters were moved to Basingstoke, Hampshire. Rebuilding of the site began in 1923 to designs of Andrew Mather.
