This Kentish vernacular style timber framed house was originally built in 1900, but in the 1920s it was extensively remodelled and extended by architects Imrie and Angell. At the time the photograph was taken for J J Runge it was called Kippington Court, subsequently to be renamed Churchill Court. BL28857 shows the house in 1925, before it was remodelled and extended.
