Description

This ceiling was removed from the 17th century water house which formerly occupied the site of the New River Head Headquarters building. The ceiling was removed prior to demolition of the old building in 1940 and reinstated in the new offices circa 1920. The oval painting on the plaster ceiling depicts King William III.
