Description

The engraving dating, from about 1850-1870, was photographed by Bedford Lemere & Company on 11 December 1927 for Glyn, Mills & Co, bankers. It shows George Carr Glyn (1797-1893), 1st Baron Wolverton, also banker and partner in Glyn, Mills & Co. The portrait was painted by Stephen Pearce and engraved by James Scott.
