Description

The London Jewish Hospital, designed by architect E T Hall, was established to care for the significant Jewish population centred in the East End of London in the early 20th century. It was funded by donations from the local population and opened in 1919. In 1948 the hospital became part of the NHS and closed in 1979. This photograph is part of a set believed to show alterations made by the hospital.
