Description

The Belgrave Hospital for Children was founded in 1866 with this hospital building being constructed between 1899 and 1926 to designs by Henry Percy Adams and Charles Holden. At the time this photograph was taken artificial sunlight treatment was used to treat rickets and other conditions.
