Description

In 1927, the Chartered Institute of Secretaries had acquired the former hall of the Worshipful Company of Curriers, rebuilt by J Belcher in 1875. Tatchell & Wilson, architects, were employed to make various changes which included the former banqueting hall becoming a council chamber, the court room becoming a library and the basement store room being adapted in to the members' smoking room. The photograph forms part of a set, some of which were published in the 11th May 1928 edition of The Builder.
