Description

A plaque on the building states that the theatre was funded by Lord Bearsted, Marcus Samuel, who was Lord Mayor of London between 1902-1903. The exact location of this building is uncertain.

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken for W H Gaze and Sons Limited, electric light engineers.
