Description

This country house, dating from 1611-13, is listed as having been altered in 1780, circa 1830, circa 1879 and again in circa 1930. In the Bedford Lemere daybook, the architectural practice Hoare & Wheeler are recorded as the architects for the later work. The photograph is part of a set taken in 1928, presumably after the work was carried out.
