Description

Jones Brothers was founded by William Jones in 1869 and their store on Holloway Road was designed by Davis and Emmanuel. The building shown is later and probably dates from the 1920s with the photograph of it being taken for the periodical The National Builder. In 1990, the store closed and a Waitrose supermarket subsequently occupied the corner site.
