Description

In 1925, the pottery manufacturer Doulton & Co established a glazed stoneware pipe works at Erith after production had moved from their Lambeth site. The semi-detached houses shown in this photograph, which lie approximately 1/2 mile to the south-west of the factory, were built for workers of Doulton & Co.
