The new Church House was constructed 1936-1940 to the designs of Sir Herbert Baker and A T Scott. It provided an assembly hall, chapel and offices for Westminster Cathedral. A chlorifier is a tank in which water is heated via an external source. This photograph was taken for Benham & Sons.
