Description

First design. In 1713 Nicholas Hawksmoor prepared plans and models for completing the College. It was with regard to the large court south of the Chapel. For some reason the scheme was abandoned, but Hawksmoor's drawings are preserved in the College and the models are in the Chapel. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume, City of Cambridge – Part I. A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for King’s College.
