Description

Repton School was founded in 1557, incorporating the remains of Holy Trinity Priory.

The image is entitled 'South-East View of Repton Priory & Church, Derbyshire'. In the lower right corner is written 'Ravenhill Sculp' and in the lower left, 'S. Shaw del'.

Additionally, underneath the engraving is printed 'Published by L. Robson, Bond Street, May 1st 1790'.

The photograph is thought to have been taken between 1900 and 1910.
