Description

The cottage is now known as Lower Lodge, although it is listed under the name 'The north-east lodge of the demolished mansion Bifrons'.

The cottage or lodge is in the form of an octagonal structure joined to a t-shaped building. The porch with barleysugar columns, which can be seen in this photograph, is on the south-east side.
