The chest is one of two in the vestry, both of 13th century date. This one is over 5ft long and has two original strap hinges with fragments of other metal work. A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Orleton. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume Herefordshire III-North West.
