Description

The building is also known as The Rodd. The fireplace is flanked by pilasters with figures in the costume of King Charles I. The decorative carving on the wooden overmantel is in the form of two arcaded bays divided by columns, covered in ivy. In the bays are the figures of Adam and Eve and the serpent is carved on the central column. A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Rodd, Nash and Little Brampton. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume Herefordshire III-North West.
