Description

The effigies are in the form of a male, dressed in mixed mail and plate armour, lying next to a female in a wimple and long gown. They are possibly Sir John Delabere and his wife Agnes. The monument is mid 14th century and is one of two recessed monuments in the north wall of the north aisle.The church is no longer a parish church and is in the care of the Redundant Churches Fund. A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Stretford. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory volume Herefordshire III-North West.
