Description

A print of this image is in the RCHME Inventory Notes for Moor Crichel, Dorset V. This image is printed in the RCHME Inventory Volume, Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume V East. The staircase is of 18th century origin with Corinthian columns with capitals decorating the newel posts. It has a moulded and swept handrail and a carved spandrel with scrollwork and flowers in the cut strings of each step.
