Description

The 'Little Castle' at Bolsover Castle was actually a small, self-contained house, constructed by Sir Charles Cavendish between 1612 and 1618 as an occasional residence for the Cavendish family. This illustration was included on page 22 of the 2014 English Heritage guidebook for Bolsover Castle.
