Description

Illustrations IC057/010 and IC057/011 are aerial reconstructions from the same viewpoint showing the castle as it may have appeared in circa 1270 and in the eleventh century respectively. This illustration was reproduced on page 19 of the 1995 English Heritage guidebook for Launceston Castle and subsequent reprints, and then on page 15 of the 1998 and 2002 editions.
