Description

Illustrations IC057/009 and IC057/011 are aerial reconstructions from the same viewpoint showing the castle as it may have appeared in the late twelfth century and in the eleventh century respectively. This illustration was reproduced on page 17 of the 1995 English Heritage guidebook for Launceston Castle and subsequent reprints, and then on page 15 of the 1998 and 2002 editions.

On the reverse of this sheet are two small pencil sketches which appear to be elevations of modern buildings.
