A note on the drawing, in the artist's handwriting, reads 'Old Sarum, Bronze Age, c.1500 BC'. This is the second in a set of four phased reconstruction illustrations, showing Old Sarum from the same aerial viewpoint through different phases of its development; see IC074/031, and IC074/033 - IC074/034 for other illustrations from this set.
