Description

A note on the drawing, in the artist's handwriting, reads 'Old Sarum, Roman, c.200 AD'. This is the fourth in a set of four phased reconstruction illustrations, showing Old Sarum from the same aerial viewpoint through different phases of its development; see IC074/031 - IC074/033 for other illustrations from this set.
