Description

This building suffered storm damage in 1790 and was never rebuilt. The remainder of Abbey House is now in use as a visitor center for Whitby Abbey. A cropped version of this illustration was reproduced on page 14 of the 2002 English Heritage guidebook for Whitby Abbey.
