Description

The Old Manor House was probably the home of a wealthy yeoman clothier in the 16th century. It was timber framed and contained a double aisled hall. The house was rebuilt in stone in the 1620s and later modified again in the 19th century.

See IC290/010 - IC290/012 for a reconstruction of the house without the cut-away.
