Description

The date of this photograph is not known. In 1969 Glyn, Mills and Co was merged with William Deacon's Bank and the National Bank to form William and Glyn's Bank. This was absorbed into the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1985. However, the sign of the anchor remained at 67 Lombard Street into the 21st century.
