Description

The first Boots store in Jersey was established in 1896. Initially the business occupied premises in Queen Street next to those of the bookseller and stationer William Rowe. Rowe's daughter, Florence, had married Jesse Boot in 1886. The two shops were rebuilt in the 1930s.
