Description

Marks and Spencer opened at 20 Queens Road in 1920, and new premises at nos. 30-36 were built in 1930. The retailer moved to Priory Meadow Shopping Centre after its completion in 1996. In the early 21st century, the premises at 30-36 Queens Road were occupied by the clothing retailer Peacocks.
