Description

The item is a copy of a plan drawn by Sir Harold Brakespear during his excavations at Battle Abbey in 1929. The copy is of poor quality, but '...F.S.A. mens et delt 1929' can still be read. An annotation on the original of this item reads '1:100 metric [illegible]' and a pencilled annotation on the item itself reads 'Enlarged to 1:100.'
