Description

The full-size pencil drawing records the donation by a small group of American citizens in 1976 that enabled the government to buy the abbey and the battlefield site. Each line of text has been cut out with a scalpel and stuck back onto the item with tape. An ink annotation gives the dimensions of the plaque as 780m x 480mm. The outdated translucent paper is headed 'Ministry of Public Buildings and Works.'. The archive object is signed DA.
