The item is comprised of a roof plan of the gatehouse, inset with a roof plan of a 'typical turret.' The dates on the Insall and English Heritage labels read November 1982, although a note on the drawing says that additional information was added in February 1985. The item is a later version of MP/BAT0117. The drawing number is BA/GG16A and the job number is 85019.
