These appear to be Hudson Block, built on the site of the senior school. The building was by the Army so these 'suggested alternative elevations' by the Office of Works may reflect an attempt to influence the design to one more compatible with the older buildings on the site. A revision of the elevation does take place (MP/DOV0576).
