Description

The two sections are on the lines shown in MP/DOV0553; these are extensively annotated and include foundations. There is a plan showing the hot and cold water supplies to fixtures in the kitchen and scullery which has been added to the copy in pen. There is a section through the kitchen roof with construction information and a pencil sketch of a detail of the roof. There is also a plan of the entire roof with alterations indicated. The two main sections are at a scale of 1" to 4ft, the two plans are at 1" to 8ft and the roof section is at 1ft to 1". This copy was taken from a tracing of the original which had been signed by several Royal Engineers. This copy is also signed by G Lewis of G Lewis and Sons (Dover) Ltd, possibly the builders and a witness.
