Description

The sheet shows a section through a post to support the handrail and the decked surface of the bridge, a sectional plan of the post at handrail level, a section of a cast-iron shoe for the post, a plan of intermediate post, balusters and oak pin fittings, an elevation of the shaped end of a capping piece, and an isometric sketched detail showing the method of framing a headpiece to a capping piece.
