Description

The sheet shows south-east and north-west elevations of the Great Hall, and a west elevation of the passage block. The sheet also includes labelled horizontal and vertical lines in red ink, indicating the position of photogrammetrically-derived horizontal and vertical cross-sections, which are shown on other sheets in this series. The south-east elevation of the Great Hall shows the position of horizontal cross-sections taken at height levels 2, 2a, 3 and 3a, with vertical sections I and J. The north-west elevation of the Great Hall shows the position of horizontal cross-sections taken at height levels 1, 1a, 2, 2a and 3, with vertical section G. The elevation of the passage block shows the position of horizontal cross-sections taken at height levels 1, 2, 2a, 3 and 3a, with vertical section H. It is probable that this drawing was created for the Department of the Environment or for English Heritage, but as this is not indicated on the sheet, the copyright status must be recorded as uncertain.
